Ancient Cultures Project
CLASSICAL CIVILIZATION PROJECT
How have ancient cultures influenced us today?
You will demonstrate your knowledge of ancient cultures, apply it and find out who else is applying it today!
Cultures to look at: China, India, Greece, Rome, Egypt, Japan
(Et cetera! There are more! Feel free to use others, too!)
1. You will gather in depth research on your topic in the ancient cultures.
2. You will cite all of your work.
3. You will create some product (your choice) that shows your research and depth of knowledge.
4. You will put information on your posterboard. (It can include your research or product on it.)
5. You will present your work to your class.
6. You will create something that is hands on to teach other students about your topic and ancient cultures. This will take place in the cafeteria or gymnasium. You will learn about other topics here too.
7. You will connect your topic to someone/some group of people today. How are have they been influenced by the ancient culture(s)? Include this information on the posterboard.
